When I was in school, the rule was to keep your cell phones at home. If you were caught with them, you may not see it until the end of the year. I was excited to know that the use of cell phones is being integrated into what is being taught in the classroom. Today there are many avenues to engage students in the classroom, but I think that this is one that will keep students in the upper grades excited about learning! It is hard to make students keep those cell phones out of sight. I always said that teachers should make students use their phones for assignments. Parents put so much money into those phones so they should get their money's worth.
